Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information MyToolkitt (“we,” “us”) collects when you use our website and tools, and how we use it. By using MyToolkitt, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

Account information. If you create an account, our authentication provider (Clerk) collects your email address and any profile details you provide, such as your name and profile photo.

Content you create. This includes QR codes, short links, WhatsApp tracking links, and any files or images you upload (for example, a logo added to a QR code, or a PDF attached to a QR page). Files you upload are stored via our cloud storage provider (Cloudflare R2).

Usage and analytics data. When someone scans a QR code or clicks a short link you’ve created, we record technical details about that visit — IP address, browser/device/operating system, and referring page — so we can show you analytics on your own content. We also use Google Analytics to understand overall site traffic and usage patterns.

How we use this information

• To provide, operate, and maintain the tools you use
• To show you analytics and activity for the content you create
• To detect and prevent abuse of our free tools (for example, rate-limiting excessive requests)
• To respond to support requests you send us
• To improve and develop new features

Third-party services we use

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run MyToolkitt: Clerk (authentication), a hosted PostgreSQL database via Supabase (application data), Cloudflare R2 (file storage), Google Analytics (site analytics), Upstash (abuse and rate-limit protection), Vercel (hosting), and Sanity (blog content — publicly published posts only, no personal data). Each of these providers processes data on our behalf under their own privacy and security terms.

Publicly accessible content

QR codes and short links you create are, by design, accessible to anyone who has or discovers the URL — that’s how they work. Don’t include sensitive personal information in content you intend to keep private.

Data retention

We keep your account and the content you’ve created for as long as your account is active. If you delete a QR code, short link, or your account, we remove the associated data from our active systems. We don’t currently apply an automated retention limit beyond that — if you’d like something deleted sooner, contact us and we’ll handle it directly.

Your rights

You can access, update, or delete the content in your account at any time from your dashboard. To request a copy of your data, or full account deletion, email us at hello@mytoolkitt.com.

Children’s privacy

MyToolkitt is not directed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll update the “Last updated” date above when we do.
